When we think of the craft beer revolution, we think of the Americas. Brewing origins coming from British and European influence. Utilising classic yeast strains, this region has been an incubator for innovative styles; hop forward ales, the haze craze, modern mixed fermentation, American lager, seltzer, the list goes on.

Germany and the Czech Republic are known to the world as true beer loving nations. They have a rich, interlaced history of producing a diverse range of lagers and ales. Bottom fermenting beers ranging from crisp Czech pilsners to malt driven Bavarian lagers. Kölsch from Cologne to hefeweizens with phenolic profiles.  Today these famous styles are replicated throughout the world. Staying connected to their brewing heritage, Germany still abide to the “German Beer Purity Law” (Reinheitsgebot). Prost!
